We are very well respected for our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision within the school.
Mrs Chadwick, our SENCo is a very experienced SEND leader and works closely with all staff to facilitate high quality support for all our pupils with additional needs.
We value contact with all parents but especially with those parents of children who have SEND. By working closely together we can maximise the attainment and progress of these pupils.
The letter below, comes from the the Department for Education and is about future changes proposed to SEN provision from September 2014. As yet the details of how this translates into provision by the local authority are not finalised. We will keep parents updated about further developments and how they will affect the provision for children with SEN.
